Private Tallinn City Tours & Shore Excursions

I would like to share feedback about the Nordic Experience Tallinn Old Town tour. We participated in the tour with a large group of foreign visitors (24 people). The entire experience was memorable, and our international guests enjoyed it very much. From the perspective of convenience, we highly appreciated the use of earphones during the tour. This allowed participants to move at their own pace, and everyone had the opportunity to pay attention to places of interest while still enjoying a cohesive tour experience. The guide’s engaging storytelling style made the tour diverse and educational.
In conclusion, I can say that our group had a very positive experience, and I definitely recommend this tour to others.

I had approached Nordic Experience for two short tours from Helsinki – To Porvoo and Tallinn. The response with recommendation of tours for query was very prompt – I sent the request in the midnight and morning by 07 I got the proposal. We selected Porvoo Private Tour with Helsinki Highlights and Helsinki To Tallinn Private Day Trip with Old Town Tour & City Sightseeing. The response from Eva ( I believe the Managing Director) was impeccable and all the arrangements were made in a swift manner. The driver and guide were on time and took all the possible efforts to keep us comfortable while explaining the importance of each places we visited. Due to unforeseen situation we thought to cancel the trip to Tallinn that was scheduled on our second day, however we tried for a possible reschedule. Even though it was a last minute request, they were able to accommodate our request and we could visit Tallinn. The guide and driver who accompanied us in Tallinn were also excellent with their wide knowledge of the history of the country and importance of each places.

I co-lead a learning abroad program to Estonia for an American university. We have used the services of Nordic Experience previously and have always received outstanding service. Eva-Maria Egipt-Peenmaa, managing director and tour guide, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. She engages well with my students and is a fount of knowledge about Estonia. Eva-Maria replies to inquiries promptly (I’m not sure she sleeps), and it is a pleasure to interact with her. I highly recommend utilizing the services of Nordic Experience.

The overall experience from booking to tour execution was very professional. The tour was exactly as specified and included additional information that we were interested in. We had an international team to whom everything was new, but there was learning also for a participant from the neighboring country. We had a small team and interaction with the guide was very smooth.

We just returned from a two week vacation in Finland and we did a day trip to Tallinn out of Helsinki. To maximize our time, we booked the Medieval Old Town Walking tour along with a Marzipan workshop. Our guide Aleksander met us at the ferry terminal and was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He gave us a great overview of the history of Tallinn and Estonia as we went, along with some great stories. The marzipan workshop was a lot of fun and created some nice souvenirs to take home.

We spent a great time at Tallinn Christmas Market and some surrounding places with wonderful guide Eva-Maria. The guide friendly remembered some forgotten details and we heard lot of new information about Tallinn Old City. Despite the -12 degree cold, 45 minutes went by very quickly.
